Spending numerous summers in the Adirondack Mountains of New York as a child, Mary embraced fungus! She and her family spent many hours walking the woods to find a special fungus! Mary would take these fungus home and spend hours creating with them! This was the inspiration for her manuscript, “Franny’s Fungus”.

Mary’s children and student’s are inspirational, whoa, there are endless characters and stories to tell…did you know filling a balloon with flour can occupy an 8 year old and serve as a best friend?  Learned that today!
